Meningitis doesn't affect me......does it?

As part of my role, I’ve been up and down the country raising awareness of meningitis in universities and colleges, and it’s been pretty shocking how many people have no idea that they’re at risk. 

Did you know that students are in the second-highest ‘at risk’ group of contracting the disease? I’ll take my hat off to you if you did.

And that’s why we’ve created this website. We want to crush the myths surrounding the disease, and we want to empower you to keep yourself safe. 

Not only can you find out all you need to know about meningitis here – there’s also a place to find out about the awesome trips we put on (such as sledging with huskies in the arctic, or climbing Everest) all in aid of squashing this disease forever.

So who am I? 

Well on paper, I’m the ‘Student Development Officer’ – but in reality my job is to be here for you guys.

I work with students and universities to raise awareness of meningitis and the vital funds we need to beat it – and I’m here to support you if you want to get involved.
