B&A Day: Active 2023
Are you, or is someone you know, aged 11-18 and been affected by meningitis? If so, our Believe & Achieve Day is for you
- When: Sunday 9 July 2023, 10.00am-4.30pm
- Where: Lea Green Development Centre, Derbyshire
- Who: 11-18year olds directly or indirectly impacted by meningitis
- What: B&A Day: Active 2023
Do you want to have fun and try something new? Do you want to be challenged but to do it where you know everyone is there to cheer you on? Do you want to meet others who have been impacted by meningitis in a relaxed space just before the summer holidays?
Then on Sunday 9 July we want to see you in Derbyshire. This day can help you with all those things and includes both big and small challenges. Learn from those who have been impacted by meningitis and other health conditions while having fun and facing something new, including games, rope activities and buggies.

The day is free to attend, and we’ll also provide lunch and pay travel expenses*. Need to break up the journey? Have a chat with us about an additional budget for an overnight hotel stay. We can provide any extra support you may need on the day, and you're welcome to attend the full day or just part of it. You can bring a friend with you too.
Worried you don’t want to do all the activities? That’s okay. You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to. The centre is set up for all abilities and we have made this event as accessible as possible.
