Education campaign

Our Education Campaign aims to get the hidden impact of meningitis recognised, making sure that children affected get the support they need during their education

Behind the campaign

Every six hours a child will have to fight for their life when bacterial meningitis strikes. For those who survive, many are left with uncertain futures. Some are left with severe brain damage, hearing and sight loss, and where septicaemia (blood poisoning) has struck, limb loss and scarring. But for many others, the impact is not so obvious.

Campaign aims

We are calling for the automatic right for any child who has had meningitis to have timely and appropriate assessments throughout their educational life, to identify quickly what help they need and make sure they get it.

YOU can help

By pledging your support you will be giving hope to children across the UK who have already faced many battles in their young lives. Don’t let fighting for the right to access appropriate educational support be one of them.

Pledge your support in whatever way you can here.
