Annual Cider Circuit

Twenty-three teams took part in the fundraiser which saw people race around 5km course with obstacles to tackle.

The event has raised more than £1,500 for the cause and Sophie, who survived the disease as a child, also wants to raise awareness of the symptoms of meningitis.

Speaking with North Somerset Times she said: “It was a fabulous day. We managed to raise £1,570 from the event with a few donations outstanding. This will all go straight to Meningitis Now which is involved in supporting victims of meningitis and their families as well as funding vital research."
