Leading global engineering company Renishaw are celebrating their 50th anniversary this April. Meningitis Now are honoured to have received their long-term support over many decades
Renishaw’s leading ethos of ‘Transforming Tomorrow Together’ has driven their support of Meningitis Now.
Although they operate globally, Gloucestershire is where it all began, and they are still based in Wotton-Under-Edge.
Giving spirit
Supporting local communities remains core to Renishaw’s ethos, and Meningitis Now is grateful to have benefited from this giving spirit.
Renishaw have been dedicated sponsors of our Five Valleys Walk since 2006. In 2022 they were the event’s Gloucester Old Spot Sponsor and entered a terrific team of 8 walkers who collectively raised over £3,000.
Tom Nutt says, “Renishaw have been an important cog in the wheel of Meningitis Now. They supported some of our earliest events, like the Frampton Concert many years ago, as well as the Five Valleys Walk more recently.”
Beat It Now
Tom goes on,“The team supported our Beat It Now campaign to get the Men B vaccination onto the national childhood vaccination programme, which we were successful in 2015. We can’t thank Renishaw enough for their continued and engaged support.”
Renishaw’s ’50 at 50’ charity initiative will see them donating to 50 not-for-profit organisations, including Meningitis Now, to mark their special anniversary.
