The 5-year-old, from Fleckney, in Leicester, is currently raising money for us as he ‘wanted to help other poorly children’.
Henry’s little brother Albert, who is now 3, suffered with viral meningitis when he was just three weeks old.
The children’s mum Christelle told us: “We felt as a family we wanted to give something back.
“Henry has decided to set himself the challenge of walking/running/scooting 12,000 steps a day for 30 days. He’s coming up to day 10 now... he is very motivated and completes his daily chart of how many steps he’s done religiously.
“And he’s chuffed to bits to have raised £480 so far.
“We are very proud of him!
“Luckily Albert had no long-term after-effects, but we make sure as a family we try and raise as much awareness as we can and tell friends and family about meningitis and what symptoms to look out for.”
Well done Henry you little scooting superstar – thank you for your valuable support and keep up the great work!
