Tuesday 5 May is #GivingTuesdayNow and we at Meningitis Now want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has played such an important role during these challenging times, especially our own amazing fundraisers, donors and volunteers who are helping us every day in the fight against meningitis
To mark this global day of unity and generosity, people around the world are being asked to share a message of thanks on social media or post a picture of a heart in their front window as a sign of gratitude.
And for those who can, they are being asked to consider donating to a charity close to their heart.
There are several ways that you can join us in #GivingTuesdayNow
- Share a message of thanks on social media for everyone helping us through these challenging times. Include the hashtags: #GivingTuesdayNow #meningitisnow #TeamTangerine
- Draw a picture of a heart and place it in your window – download templates, why not colour your heart orange and share a picture or video on social media with us as outlined above?
- Make a donation to Meningitis Now
- Get in touch to find out about other ways you can get involved in the fight against meningitis
Dr Tom Nutt, CEO at Meningitis Now says "Giving Tuesday Now is a great opportunity for us to say thank you to all our wonderful fundraisers, donors, volunteers, and everyone else who is helping us get through these challenging times. You are all amazing and we need your support now, more than ever before. Every act of generosity counts and by donating to Meningitis Now, you will be helping save lives and rebuild futures."
