This month, one of our green handed supporters hosted a flower arranging demonstration in Evesham, raising £1,115 for us.
Sheila Hand, mother to one of our Business Ambassadors, organised the event on 11 November alongside flower arranger, Wendy Lawrence, who carried out the demonstration.
Sue Davie, Chief executive at Meningitis Now, attended the event.
“It was a really interesting and unique event – it’s great to see our supporters using their different skills and talents to fundraise for us.”
“These kinds of events, no matter how big or small, make such a massive difference and I’d like to thank Sheila and Wendy for giving up their time, and for all the hard work they put into the event.”
There are many ways you can fundraise for meningitis now, be it climbing the world’s highest mountain in a morph suit, dying your hair orange, putting on your own musical showcase or attempting a new world record. Step outside the box and let your imagination run wild!
