After taking part in May Mayhem last year, Boyes Turner are once again preparing to unleash mayhem to raise vital funds for Meningitis Now
The team started casually with a dress-down Friday on 4 May, with all staff paying £2 to wear their comfy clothes.
Following last year’s success, Week Two saw staff being tempted by delicious ice creams and a new addition to the snack trolley in the form of Krispy Kreme doughnuts, as volunteers toured the different departments trying their best to encourage everyone to treat themselves – it is for a good cause after all!
There will also be a fun Guess Who email quiz about the Partners / Senior Associates, with plenty of prizes up for grabs.
The third week will see staff getting into the spirit of the Royal Wedding by enjoying a tea party. Delicious party food will be available to purchase, and there will also be a raffle and plenty of garden games. Fingers crossed for nice weather, so the tea party can be enjoyed al fresco!
A World Cup sweepstake will take place in the final week, with tickets available for £5 per team and more great prizes on offer.
In addition to these planned events, there will also be fundraising buckets in breakout areas, for generous staff to donate any spare change.
Julie Marsh, Senior Associate Solicitor at Boyes Turner, said, “We are really pleased to be able to offer further support to Meningitis Now during this Mayhem-packed month of May, which we know will be great fun, and we hope will raise valuable funds for the great work the charity does in supporting people affected by this terrible disease”.
Harry Gardner, Corporate Account Executive at Meningitis Now, said, “We are really grateful that Boyes Turner are once again causing mayhem and fundraising for Meningitis Now.”
“Their support is vitally important and will help to make a real difference to the lives of people who have been affected by meningitis.”
