We are absolutely thrilled that for the second year running we will be partnering with the brilliant Daisy First Aid on one of our favourite events for our youngest supporters: Toddle Waddle

Daisy First Aid runs courses for parents up and down the country and last year several franchises organised Toddle Waddles and helped us raise a fantastic £28,152.22 to help fight deadly meningitis.

Our official launch for Toddle Waddle 2019 isn’t until early June, but we know several Daisy First Aid groups are eager to take part again this year and already enthusiastically planning their events.

Jo Duddridge, manager of Daisy First Aid in Cardiff & Vale, raised an amazing £800 for Meningitis Now in 2018. Jo, who is looking forward to taking part again this year, said they had chosen to arrange their Waddle as part of a Family Fun Day.

“I decided to take part because my friend’s stepson had only recently beaten meningitis, so it was a subject not only close to my heart but also fresh in the minds of local parents,” she told us.

“The day was a huge success with plenty of local small businesses showing off their wares, the sun shone, and everyone smiled!"

“I would definitely recommend others getting involved as a Toddle Waddle by itself is easy to arrange, it raises awareness and it raises much needed funding at the same time”.

Jo said she raised money by holding the Waddle as a sponsored event but you may prefer to charge an entry fee for each toddler or check out these other great fundraising ideas to help your Waddle really take off.
