Business support makes Five Valleys Walk a roaring success

14th October 2015

We would like to say a big thank you to each of the following businesses who pledged their support to the 2015 Five Valleys Walk, enabling us to put together our biggest and most successful five valleys event to date

Five Valleys blogConnexus

Connexus, a leading supplier of business Telecoms & IT solutions, has supported Meningitis Now for 10 years and was our 2015 lead sponsor.

“We’re delighted to support the Five Valleys Walk. We actively encourage our team to get involved in fundraising events for Meningitis Now. We are proud to be lead sponsor this year on our 10th Anniversary.”

Gulam Patel, Managing Director of Connexus

Stroud Brewery

Stroud Brewery gave a free pint of their best ale to all walkers who had completed five or more of our checkpoints on the day.

Stagecoach

Stagecoach provided free transport for all our participants between checkpoints for the whole day. They have supported us on an annual basis and we, along with our tired legs, couldn’t be more grateful.

Angel Springs

Bob Phillips from Angel Springs donated 80 water bottles, and has done so annually. This means we can keep all our participants safely hydrated throughout the walk.

Tesco

Tesco donated a jam-packed hamper and 100 sandwiches which fed all of our hard working volunteers throughout the day.

Renishaw

Global company, Renishaw, which specialised in measurement, motion control, healthcare, spectroscopy and manufacturing, sponsored the event.

This event wouldn’t be possible without the combined efforts of all our sponsors. If you would like more information about sponsoring next year’s Five Valleys Walk, please email harryg@meningitisnow.org
