If you’re in the area why not join us for what are always wonderfully warm and inspiring occasions, guaranteed to get you in the festive spirit?
The musical celebrations are among the most popular events in our calendar, offering traditional Christmas carols and festive musical entertainment.
First up is the concert at Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff on Tuesday 1 December. This starts at 7.30pm (doors open 7pm) and is headlined with a performance from the brilliant Welsh choir, Only Boys Aloud, Britain’s Got Talent and X Factor finalists.
Our Young Ambassador Huw Westwood is one of their members. Another of our Young Ambassadors, Holly McNaughton, will be giving a reading.
Other attractions on the full and varied programme include the Canton Salvation Army Band and contributions from Radyr Comprehensive School, Millbank Primary School and St John’s Jazz, from the St John Baptist Church in Wales High School. All the schools involved have experienced meningitis, so taking part in the concert is particularly poignant.
And there’s also the chance to exercise your lungs and join in with some traditional carols.
Tickets are now available and cost £5 for aisle seats and £10 in the nave. Family tickets for four people cost £15 in the aisle and £30 in the nave.
The Gloucester concert is on Thursday 10th December, again at 7.30pm.
This features performances from the Band of the Gloucestershire Constabulary, Cheltenham Ukulele Ensemble and Bishop’s Cleeve Primary Academy, again with the chance to join in with some traditional Christmas carols.
Tickets are now available at £5 for aisle seats (family tickets for four people £15) and £10 in the nave (family tickets for four people £30).
We’d love you to join us on the evening if you’re able to.
And finally, a big, big thank you to everyone who has supported our Christmas Celebration Concerts this year, including Bryn Meadows, Irwin Mitchell. Ty Cerrig, The Co-operative Food, Snow Business, Waitrose Cheltenham, Endsleigh Insurance and Jonathon Watkins.
