Community Ambassador on par with fundraising

11th September 2015

Keen golfers are invited to raise vital funds and fight meningitis with a ‘hole in one’ this October

Golf-Day
Yorkshire-based construction and shop-fitting specialists, Ronan Developments, are holding a ‘Charity Golf Day’ on Sunday 18th October to raise money for us.

The event takes place at the beautiful Meltham Golf Club near Huddersfield and any Meningitis Now supporters who are golf enthusiasts are welcome to enter a team.

Begin the day with breakfast at 10.30am, followed by a lunchtime ‘shotgun start’ and a three-course dinner in the clubhouse after the golf.

The tournament is open to teams of four, with the best two Stableford scores from each team counting. There will also be a range of excellent prizes for both teams and individuals.

“Golf has always been a favourite hobby of mine and I thought it would be a great opportunity to do something I love while raising money for a fantastic charity. It should be a really great day and hopefully we can pull together to raise as much money as possible .”

Ian Watkinson, Community Ambassador

Entry costs £60.00 per player and, because Ronan Developments are generously paying for all the green fees and catering, every single penny will be donated to Meningitis Now.
