Form an orderly queue to take part in our latest fantastic fundraiser – the Kew Gardens 10k run next September
If you’re quick off the blocks you could even buy someone close to you a place in the event for that special surprise Christmas present. It’s just £10 to register (although there is a minimum fundraising pledge of £150 too) – how cute is that!
This is a new event for us and we’re very excited about it. It takes place in the grounds of the famous World Heritage site that is Kew Gardens and includes free entry to the site for runners’ families.
And, with the minimum age to take part being just 15 years old, what’s to stop the whole family from signing up for this fun and achievable challenge? Those who can’t or won’t run can still have a fun-filled day exploring the site.
Iconic tourist attraction
Our Events Manager Kirsty Owen-Hayward said, “We’d love our supporters to sign up for this new running challenge – part of the Richmond Running Festival."
“It’s the only race we know of that takes place inside an iconic tourist attraction – and it offers the flattest course of any 10k in or near the capital."
“It also has the poshest baggage area you can imagine – inside the Nash Conservatory. Only two of these were ever built and the other one is at Buckingham Palace."
“We’ll be there in the charity village on the day to meet and greet our runners and welcome them home after the race."
Top package on offer
“And as with all our running events, we provide a top package, including branded running tops and support with your training and fundraising every step of the way.”
So, if this appeals to you or someone you know, then please get in touch and sign up through our Kew Gardens 10k page and help us in our fight back against meningitis.
The Kew Gardens 10k takes place on Saturday 12 September.
