The team of 10 will take on the notorious Wolf Run in Leicestershire on Saturday 13 June in aid of Liam’s Smiles.

Liam’s Smiles was set up by Becky Doyle to raise awareness and funds for Meningitis Now after her son Liam, 4, contracted bacterial meningitis in 2010.

Becky will be taking on the demanding 10k challenge as part of the team.

Chameli Chowdhury, Database and Marketing Manager at Bentley Birmingham, said:

“The lives of both Liam and his family were changed forever when he contracted meningitis. He is still fighting and, after everything he’s been through, he’s still smiling. We want to keep it that way."

“His strength of character and his happy personality is a real testament to who he is.”

The Wolf Run is action packed with both man-made and natural obstacles. The course runs through dense woodland, intricate trails and a network of streams and lakes.

Chameli continued:  “The run is not for the faint hearted. Every step will test us mentally and physically, taking us back to a primal, instinctive way of running in raw, challenging terrain."

“It’s a great opportunity for staff to get out and stretch their legs, while getting behind a great charity.”
