Family day in Wales

10th April 2016

We are delighted to invite families affected by meningitis to a FREE day out in Cardiff. This is a great opportunity to have fun, join together and share experiences with others

Family Day blog
The Family Day, supported by Children in Need, takes place on Sunday 15 May at Techniquest in Cardiff and is an exciting, hands-on attraction for all ages.

Lunch will also be provided so you can chat with others over refreshments. The children will love the chance to experience everything that Techniquest has to offer and adults can take time to get to know others.

“Whether a child in your family has had meningitis or you as a parent or carer have been affected, we would like to invite you to join us and other families from Wales to relax and communicate with people who understand what the impact of the disease is like. Meningitis changes lives and futures, which is why bringing together families with similar experiences of the disease is so important.”

“Having a fun day with your family may seem a small thing, but when your family has lived through the trauma of meningitis together, it means so much.”

Steve Ferbrache, Community Support Officer

Registration is now open and places will be filled on a ‘first come first served’ basis. To find out more about the day contact Steve Ferbrache on 01453 769026 or email stevef@meningitisnow.org
