Foot Anstey employees climb continents for Meningitis Now

27th June 2015

This week, a team of four from Foot Anstey LLP, Plymouth, climbed the equivalent of the tallest building on every continent

Their efforts didn’t go unnoticed and the team, based in the Clinical Negligence department, raised more than £250 for Meningitis Now.

“Everyone trained hard for the climb, and it's a testament to the team's dedication that everyone was able to complete it. The only continent missing was Antarctica - the penguins don't tend to build particularly high!"

"We're delighted to be able to contribute towards the great work being done by everyone at Meningitis Now, which continues to be a great comfort and support to some of our most vulnerable clients and their families."

"Our commitment to their cause led us to become Corporate Partners last year, and if we can make even a small improvement to the life of someone who has suffered meningitis, we'll know it was worth it."

Laura Millman, Senior Associate

The equivalent buildings climbed range from the Hassan II Mosque Minaret in Casablanca to the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, which even on its own measures a daunting 828 meters tall.

Clinical Negligence staff from all five offices of Foot Anstey LLP will be organising and taking part in a wide variety of fundraising activities for Meningitis Now. Watch this space!
