With our Golden Bond places and volunteer runners we'll have 87 people pulling on our bright orange running tops and taking on the 26.2 mile course through the capital.
If you're going down to watch, give them a cheer and a clap as they pass to encourage them on their way or join fellow Meningitis Now supporters at our cheering point at mile 23, just outside the Walrus and Carpenter pub in Monument Street.
Our runners will be among about 50,000 people from across the world taking part in the event, including some of the world’s top athletes.
Kirsty Owen-Hayward, event organiser at Meningitis Now, said, "We really appreciate everything all our runners are doing for us and wish them the best of luck on marathon day."
“We'll be looking after them once they've finished with some well-deserved pampering, including a sports massage, at our post-race reception."
“Their efforts, which we hope will raise £180,000, will make such a huge difference to rebuilding futures torn apart by meningitis – thank you so much to everyone who’s taking part."
So, whether you’re there in person or watching on TV, keep an eye open for our bright orange tops and encourage our supporters on their way.
And, if watching the marathon inspires you to be just a bit more active next year, then we’d love to consider you for our team. Look out on our London Marathon 2019 page for news of our places in 2019’s event and, if you want to give it a go you'll be able to submit your application from Monday 23 April. In the meantime, you can register your interest and we'll be in touch with more information.
