The Bath clothing company co-founded by a young student who lost his life to meningitis last year has sold out of a unique sweatshirt collection launched in his memory
Induced Euphoria raised an amazing £2,400 for Meningitis Now by selling 180 of the sweatshirts that were designed to honour 21-year-old Graham Ward, who died in November of MenB. Graham was a final year business and management student at Bath Spa University.
The collection included two sweatshirts – one in white and one in Meningitis Now trademark orange. Each item also featured Graham’s initials and the company name. It was called the GW Collection in his honour.
Induced Euphoria has released a short video to mark the occasion of selling out of the collection. In the video, Graham’s friends and co-founders of the company can be seen preparing the sweatshirts for delivery and adding one of our signs and symptoms cards to each package before they are sent out.
The video also includes messages on Instagram and Facebook from grateful people who have bought one of the sweatshirts.
Leah Wynn, Meningitis Now’s Community Fundraising Manager, said she was delighted with how well the sales had gone.
“Although we are really pleased, we aren’t surprised they have sold out – the sweatshirts were really great quality and super stylish. So stylish in fact that a couple of my colleagues bought one straight away!
“They were also a great tribute to Graham, who sounded like an amazing young man – thank you to everyone involved in this collection and we hope to be able to continue to collaborate with you in the future. “
