We’re holding our annual Christmas Celebration Concert in the magnificent setting of Gloucester Cathedral on Friday 2 December – and everyone is invited
The musical celebration is one of the most popular events in our calendar, offering traditional Christmas carols and festive musical entertainment in a wonderful and moving setting.
The doors will be open to all-comers, so why not come along and join us on the evening?
“We are so happy to be able to get together again at Gloucester Cathedral, to reflect on our loved ones and enjoy some festive cheer”, said organiser Sophia, our Fundraising Officer.
Christmas tree with ribbons
Once again the focal point in the Cathedral will be our Christmas tree, bedecked with hundreds of white ribbons, each one in remembrance of a loved one lost to meningitis. Find out more about our Ribbon Appeal.
This year’s concert will feature performances from the Soundabout Choir, The Rock Choir and the talented pupils from Highnam C of E Primary Academy.
Sophia added: “Our Christmas concerts are warm and inspiring occasions in a beautiful setting and a wonderful way to get into the mood for the festive season.
“You don’t need to have had an experience of meningitis or be a supporter of the charity – everybody is welcome to come along.”
