The Virtual Garden is a safe online space, where all families and individuals affected by meningitis can come together, reflect on their experience, honour their loved ones and help us in the fight against meningitis by donating towards the cause. Our Virtual Garden will remain open until 31 August.
Christine Spice, Individual Giving and Marketing Officer at Meningitis Now, said, “Our Virtual Garden is an important way to honour all those whose lives have been touched by meningitis."
“As a thank you for dedications and donations, we will celebrate those honoured by inscribing their name on a token of natural wood, which we will display on the cherry tree that sits in the centre of our beautiful garden in Stroud. At the end of the August, we will post this token back to you to keep forever."
“I believe these tokens to be particularly special as each one is unique; the perfect way to honour individual experiences.”

Save lives and rebuild futures
“It’s only through the generosity of individuals that we’re able to save lives and rebuild futures, through our research, awareness and support work. We remain committed to being here to support all those who need us and your donation really does make a difference.” Christine added.
The appeal is being launched to coincide with the 10th anniversary of our Remembrance Garden at our Head Office in Stroud. To further mark this occasion four of the sculptures that were such an important part of our award-winning RHS Chelsea Flower Show garden three years ago have been given a permanent home in the garden – read more about this here.
