We’re no longer producing the paper-based version of the magazine but we’ll continue to bring you the latest news about what we’ve been doing and what’s coming up every quarter online.
As many of you will know, Rachel Robinson has been holding the chief executive reins over the last few months whilst we recruit a new person. We’re pleased to be able to report in this issue that this process is now complete and we’ve appointed Dr Tom Nutt to the role. He takes up post in June.
As well as the latest news, including details on our founder Steve Dayman’s latest fundraising walk around the Northern Ireland coast, we look forward within this edition to our annual Viral Meningitis Awareness Week (Make Viral Visible - 1 to 7 May); how our funded research is helping in developing more effective vaccines to fight meningitis; what our corporate supporters are up to and the impact art therapy can have on those fighting back from the disease and how the Trusts who support our work enable this.
