Right royal revelries to defeat deadly disease

Roll out the red carpet and host right royal revelries to defeat a deadly disease

Time 4 Tea

We invite everyone to organise royal-themed Time 4 Tea fundraisers to save lives and rebuild futures.

People can host sovereign-themed soirees, from discos, balls and children’s fancy dress days, to workplace events, garden parties and baking competitions, when they wish.

This year’s top individual fundraiser wins afternoon tea for two at The Ritz London, including choice of 16 loose tea blends, delicious sandwiches, freshly baked scones, cakes and pastries.

Time 4 Tea co-ordinator Helen Whatmore said: “This year we’ve a royal theme and ask people to gather friends and family, and let their imaginations run wild."

“Why not dress as kings, queens or the children as little princes and princesses for the day, or bake regal cakes such as Victoria Sponges, Battenberg Cakes and royal icing-topped treats."

“We hope people will have fun fundraising to fight the disease.”

Subjects who sign up receive a party pack including fundraising tips, decorations, paper crowns, balloons, invitations and coasters, to ensure parties are crowning achievements.

There are also recipe cards, so people can make majestic masterpieces fit for majesties, and gallant game ideas such as Pin the Tail on the Corgi, Hunt the Crown and Royal Relay.

We would love to see photos of events.

Money raised helps Meningitis Now fund pioneering preventative research, raise lifesaving awareness and support people.
