Those of you who take part will be coached to walk barefoot across a bed of blazing embers and emerge unscathed.
The challenge includes motivational training from professional organisers to make it all seem just a stroll in the park and participants are encouraged to bring their family and friends along for moral support. A bar and hot food will also be available.
The event takes place at Clydesdale Cricket Club in Beaton Road, Glasgow G41 4LA on Sunday 5 March.
Amanda Harris, our Community Fundraiser in Scotland, said: “We’d like to invite everyone to come along and support us at this event and make a real difference in our fight against meningitis. Firewalking is a great experience and no previous experience is required. Anyone over the age of 18 can have a go – you don’t even need to do any training! Your efforts will make a real difference to those who are at risk from meningitis and those whose lives have already been changed forever because of it.”
We’re asking those taking part for a £35 deposit and minimum sponsorship of £75.
Why delay? Sign up and firewalk with us.
