Meningitis Now was delighted to receive a donation of £2,500 from the Today’s Charitable Foundation earlier this year

Todays Group

Today’s Group is the largest wholesale services company in the UK, with 143 independent wholesale members operating out of approximately 190 depots. The Group’s membership services over 2,900 independent convenience stores nationally.

In 2014 the Today’s Group launched the 'Today’s Charitable Foundation’, with the objective of supporting and raising money for local and national causes. Since then, the Foundation has raised over £90,000 for a variety of charities.

This is the second time we have been supported with a donation from Today’s Charitable Foundation, after gratefully receiving a donation of £2,500 in 2017.

Sarah Ramsay, Trust and Grants manager at Meningitis Now, said, “We are so grateful to receive this generous gift from Today’s Charitable Foundation, and for their continued support over two years.”

“As a charity that receives no government funding, our vital work relies on donations and this gift will make such a difference in the fight against meningitis.”

Founder of Meningitis Now Steve Dayman visited the Doncaster offices of Today’s Group in May to meet one of the company’s trustees, David Sabin.

Anita Oakhill, Marketing Controller at Today’s Group, said, “We are always very pleased to be able to support charitable causes and chose Meningitis Now as we were aware that they receive no central government support. We hope that our contribution will help to fund the important work that Meningitis Now is involved in”
