FastestHour behind the scenes

Here is your guide to the making of the #FastestHour meningitis awareness film

Meningitis takes hold quickly and needs urgent medical attention.

To make people aware of the dangers, we have launched a new hard-hitting awareness TV and cinema ad.

The Fastest Hour film premiers on Channel 5 on Monday 9 February at 11.45pm and in select London cinemas afterwards. We are looking for people to watch the film and share it to as many people as possible in order to raise awareness.

We know this might not be the usual sort of thing you’d blog, tweet or share, but we need your influence to spread our message.

The film uses a real life story to drive home the fact that meningitis is a real and present threat to young adults, and that knowing meningitis signs and symptoms can save lives and prevent life changing disabilities and after effects.

#FastestHour > director interview

Watch our interview with Director James Lawes from Bare Films on why he took on this project, the innovative filming techniques he used and what he’s learned as a result.

#FastestHour > a look behind the scenes

We captured behind the scenes photos during the filming. If you would like the originals for a feature, we’d be happy to email them to you.
