Can you help?

Wasps Rugby Club
We're looking for lots of our wonderful volunteers to help us turn one of the country's major sporting venues orange for the afternoon! Wasps Rugby Club has invited us to raise awareness and funds at a Wasps vs Gloucester game in Coventry on Saturday 7 March from 12:00 We need plenty of volunteers to assist with the collection buckets and run an awareness stand. The best part is, volunteers get a free tickets to the game! If you're interested in finding out more, do get in touch.

London Marathon
We're looking for volunteers to help us support our runners on Sunday 26 April from 10:00am - 5:00pm. You don't have to be free for the entire time - every bit helps!

Scout and Cadet groups
Want to do more but not sure where to start? Lots of Scout and Cadet groups have added 'Infectious diseases' to their curriculum. Contact your local group and ask if you can give a talk or run a stand; we have loads of materials we can send you and will provide lots of online and telephone support so you feel confident.

Become a Community Volunteer

“I am a passionate believer in what Meningitis Now is doing and about helping to spread awareness of this disease. Sometimes it can be very difficult and very emotional too, but it’s worth it. The respect that goes with volunteering helps make life feel positive.”  Damion - Community Volunteer

“I volunteer in many ways; distributing literature, attending awareness fairs, promoting and assisting with Toddle Waddle events, London Marathon and more. Volunteering is my therapy. I gain so much from it and I always try to be there when I am needed.”  Mary - Community Ambassador
