Ellie Murray

Believe & Achieve Officer

Hi! I'm Ellie, one of Meningitis Now's Believe & Achieve Officers

The year you joined the charity

April 2019.

A brief overview of your role - what are you responsible for?

My role is a real mixture of things to help the running of our Believe & Achieve Programme. I might be in the office arranging support therapies for our young people, evaluating our data, finding useful things to share on our social media platforms or working towards future events and projects. I also work offsite at B&A events, meeting up with people on the Programme to see how they are getting on or visiting venues to assess their compatibility for our day workshops.

Your favourite part of your role

Events - I love seeing everyone involved in Believe & Achieve as they are such a great team of people!

Your biggest achievements

My background involves working within the areas of administration, event work and a bit of marketing. Previously to this role I was working with young people in a vibrant art department at a local FE college and before that I worked in a busy entertainment venue.

I studied Drama and Performance at the University of Portsmouth, which involved performing, directing and vocal coaching and I did a lot of community work with schools, retirement homes and local companies.

A fun fact about yourself

I can juggle!
