The more people know about the disease and what to do if they suspect it, the better
The year you joined the charity
A brief overview of your role – what are you responsible for?
I'm very pleased to have returned from maternity leave into a brand new role, overseeing the charity's work in awareness-raising campaigns. I work closely with my Comms colleagues to increase knowledge of the disease amongst students and staff at universities and with at-risk groups in the wider world.
Your favourite part of your role
It's varied, and there's a very clear goal - the more people know about the disease and what to do if they suspect it, the better.
Your biggest achievements
Not regretting anything!
A fun fact about yourself
My dream is to start a ferry company that crosses the River Severn.
