My favourite part of the role is helping and supporting people to achieve their goals, however big or small
The year you joined the charity
A brief overview of your role – what are you responsible for?
I have a dual role and sit under both the Events and Community Fundraising teams... just like Viv! This means my role is incredibly varied and I get to help with fundraising across two different sectors, meaning I am constantly challenged and every day is different for me - which I love.
Your favourite part of your role
As cheesy as it sounds, my favourite part of the role is helping and supporting people to achieve their goals, however big or small. It's something I've always wanted to do.
Your biggest achievements
This is a difficult one as I'm lucky to have accomplished so many wonderful things already, but I would have to say my biggest achievement is travelling to 86 countries. I worked on a cruise ship for 5 years so managed to rack the numbers up as well as travelling independently at any opportunity. Travel really is one of the only things you can buy that makes you richer.
A fun fact about yourself
After only coming off the ships in December 2018 I decided to jump wholeheartedly into 'land life', so decided to get myself an allotment and grow everything I wanted, from spinach to sprouts! I just love spending my time outdoors and getting lost in time in the allotment. Also, I am a very proud bunny mum to little Benjamin (had to mention him of course!).
