My team play a crucial role driving awareness, supporting families and campaigning

Mark Hunt, Director of Communications and Marketing

I lead a small group of communication professionals responsible for managing the charity’s external and internal communications across press, broadcast, web and social media

The team play a crucial role driving awareness, supporting families who have experienced meningitis and in campaigning to influence policy maker decisions made in Whitehall.

I have over 25 years experience in brand and corporate public relations and marketing, mainly within the international alcoholic drinks sector.  Prior to joining the charity in 2015, I ran my own PR and marketing communications consultancy.

    Steve Dayman, Executive founder

My little boy Spencer contracted meningitis and meningococcal septicaemia in 1982 and died. Since then, I have dedicated much of my life to the meningitis cause in Spencer’s memory. I am really proud of the progress that has been made to-date.
