Meningitis Now Believe & Achieve B&A staff member Becky Hartwell

Introducing Asha

Becky Hartwell 11th April 2018

You may have seen Meningitis Now social and web littered with Believe & Achieve info; that’s because we’ve now officially launched!

Believe & Achieve - Asha

We’re all over Snapchat and Facebook and are starting to make ourselves known on Instagram and Twitter too. Have you seen the Believe & Achieve cakes?

If you think there are other ways we could get ourselves known then please tell the Believe & Achieve team.

In the meantime, we’re interviewing the last of our Business Skills Mentors (peer mentor opportunities are coming in 3 - 4 months) before their day of training in less than two weeks. These are mentors who have backgrounds in a variety of industries and skills who can support, advise and motivate you, helping you to develop skills and get to wherever it is you want to go. Over time, I’ll be sharing their pictures and stories with you.

But first let me introduce you to Asha. She’s based in Wales and has worked in several different charities supporting young people. When she’s not working in her current role at the Millennium Centre in Cardiff, she is seeing the world and getting involved in all sorts of challenges. I’m talking cycling from John O’Groats to Land’s End, taking on a triathlon and just this week she finished a trek in Sweden where she faced freezing temperatures - -11c one night! If you want to know more about Asha or about having a mentor then keep an eye on our Facebook page, Believe & Achieve web pages and Snapchat (banda_mennow).

For now they are undergoing my questioning - wish them luck!
