Regional Connect Events

Join others who understand, share experiences and build connections.

If meningitis has touched your life, whether personally, through a loved one, or as someone supporting another, you are warmly invited to join us at one of our Regional Connect Events.

These in-person gatherings bring together adults aged 18+ who have been affected by meningitis, creating a safe and supportive space to connect with others who truly understand the impact that meningitis can have.

Whether you're looking for information, support, friendship, or simply the opportunity to meet people in your regional area with shared experiences, these events offer a chance to come together, learn from one another, and feel part of a community.

What to expect at our regional connect events

  • Meet others affected by meningitis in your local area
  • Share experiences and build meaningful connections
  • Learn more about meningitis
  • Discover practical support, resources, and opportunities available to you
  • Learn more about Meningitis Now and how to get involved in other areas of the charity

Our events are supported by members of our wider support services team and may include opportunities to connect with:

  • Helpline nurses
  • Community support officers
  • Volunteer team members
  • Local community ambassadors with lived experience

Depending on the event, there may also be wellbeing activities, creative workshops, guest speakers, or other opportunities to relax, connect, and learn together.

Why attend?

We consistently hear that meeting others face-to-face can be transformative. These events help people feel less isolated, build confidence after meningitis, find positive ways to adapt to life changes, and develop lasting friendships and support networks.

No matter where you are on your journey, you'll be welcomed into a community that understands.
