That’s why we've created the COVID-19 Young Futures Fund – emergency financial support for children and young people affected by meningitis, who have faced further challenges during the current pandemic.
We’ll consider any application that supports the education, learning and development of children and young people up to the age of 25, up to £500. Maybe you need a new tablet or laptop to help with home-schooling, sensory toys and equipment to make up for cancelled therapy sessions, or online training and tuition to help plan for a new career.
The COVID-19 Young Futures Fund is the only financial support we’re currently able to offer. Funds are limited, and only available until Friday 30 October 2020.
How to apply
We are delighted with the positive response to the COVID-19 Young Futures Fund, and have received an unprecedented number of applications. Because of this, we are temporarily closing the Fund so we can process the applications we've already had.
How have we helped?
We understand the importance of children and young people being able to use the internet and social media platforms for education, learning and development. However, we also recognise that safeguards need to be in place to ensure that children and young people are kept safe at all times.
For more information about online safety, download the "Wise up to the Web" leaflet that we urge all parents and carers to read.
Age-appropriate educational programmes and further information about online safety can be found at www.thinkuknow.co.uk.
