Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Five Valleys Walk.
This year marks 40 years of Meningitis Now and the 39th Five Valleys Walk. An amazing 1,478 walkers and 151 dogs took on the 21-mile route, and 109 walkers and 8 dogs took part in the brand new 5k route!
We had record number of participants complete the 21-miles, with over 1,000 medals given out on the day.
So far, the event has raised an amazing £43,276 (and counting!)
Thank you to all of our staff and volunteers who spent the day working at the various checkpoints along the route.
A huge thank you to all our partners for the event.
Randall & Payne voluntarily provide a bus service on the day, this event wouldn’t run without their support.
Stroud Cricket Club team for use of their venue and a huge level of support over the weekend.
Stonehouse Court for the use of their Canalside Lawn for the 5k route.
The team from Mira for putting up signage for the 5k route and a section of the 21-mile route, this was a huge help in the lead up to the event. (Images attached)
