Today is Giving Tuesday, a day of generosity when millions of people support the charities closest to their hearts.
We are proud to be part of this global movement for good and we’d like to invite you to get involved to support Meningitis Now.
By making a donation today, you can have a direct impact on people’s lives who are managing the devastating impact of meningitis, as well as helping to inform more people about the risks of the disease.
Here’s how your gift could help:
£3 could help us continue creating lifesaving symptom cards, raising awareness of meningitis warning signs.
£5 could help provide specialist equipment or practical support for families living with the long-term impact of meningitis.
£10 could help provide counselling for a family affected by meningitis, supporting them as they rebuild their lives.
By supporting Meningitis Now, you’ll be part of a community of hope and action, helping us to move closer to a future where no one has to face meningitis alone.
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference.
Your donation could help families like Zachary’s.
At just two months old, Zachary contracted pneumococcal meningitis, causing a stroke and lasting effects including brain injury, epilepsy and hydrocephalus.
Because of donations people like you make, we were able to fund optic lighting to create a sensory space that helps Zachary look around, reach out and strengthen movement in his right hand, all while enjoying a colourful light display.
Zachary's mum, Rachael, says, “The lights have helped to encourage him to reach out with both hands (which is challenging for Zachary due to the after-effects of his stroke). He has also enjoyed watching the lights.”

Zachary’s story is just one example of how your support changes lives. Families across the UK rely on Meningitis Now for help, hope and guidance.
Scott’s daughter, six-year-old Noa-Rose, contracted meningitis in 2022 and survived, but now lives with long-term after-effects including learning difficulties. As Scott shares:
“Meningitis Now has been a lifeline to our family and they stand beside us throughout the journey we now find ourselves on. The impact they have had on our lives and the lives of others is breathtaking. We really would be lost without their support, advice and knowledge of meningitis.”

Zachary and Noa-Rose are just two of the many families we’ve been able to support, each with their own story of strength, recovery, and hope made possible through your generosity.
This Giving Tuesday, let’s stand united to save lives, rebuild futures, and stop meningitis for good.
Together, we can make an incredible impact. Please donate.
