This year our Gloucester Christmas Concert will be held on Wednesday 26 November at the magical Gloucester cathedral.
We are delighted to invite you at our annual Christmas celebration concert at Gloucester Cathedral on the 26 November. Come along to sing heart warming carols as well as to hear about how your support allows us help families who have been bereaved by meningitis.
Alex and Clare, whose story features in our Ribbon Appeal this year, will be joining us at the cathedral to speak about their experience of losing their daughter Mia to meningitis in 2023.
As well as this moving address, this year’s concert will feature performances from The Chalford Band, The I-Sing Choir, and the talented Two Can Theatre Choir.
Special evening
It's due to be a special evening where we can reflect and celebrate with plenty of traditional carols for everyone to sing (and sign!) along to.
At the heart of our Christman concert is our Tree of Remembrance. Each white ribbon tied to its branches carries a special dedication, symbolising love, loss, hope, and unity for all those affected by meningitis.
Alex and Clare will be remembering Mia with a ribbon at the concert and if we would like to invite you to do so too, in memory of someone special, or in support of everyone affected by this devastating disease.
Tree of Remembrance
Fay’s Flowers, run by Mia’s grandparents, will sponsor this year’s Tree of Remembrance. They have a beautiful range of flowers, including ‘Mia's bouquet’, from which 50% of the profits go to Meningitis Now.

The Christmas concert is one of the most popular events in our calendar and is a wonderful way to get into the festive spirit whilst also remembering and celebrating loved ones.
