A small team of dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly to put on inaugural Scottish Gala Dinner.
Over 200 guests gathered at the Moulsdale Foundation Museum near Glasgow on 4th September 2026 for the first Scottish Gala Dinner in aid of Meningitis Now.
Hosted by Go Radio presenter Gina McKie, the Gala Dinner also featured a motoring Q&A with Jimmy and Barry Sime of Sime Racing, and an auction led by Des McKeown.
London jeweller Solange was incredibly kind to donate a stunning 18k pendant, valued at £4900, for the Diamond Draw.
Generous support
It’s due to the generous support of the Moulsdale Foundation, who provided the venue, staff and catering, that the dinner was able to go ahead.
The evening closed with fabulous entertainment from the band Cassien.
Huge thanks to sponsors enlinea and The Malcolm Group, and to MacPhails Coaches, for the free transport they provided guests.
The event raised a staggering £51, 703.16.
Collective effort
Gaynor Simpson, Meningitis Now volunteer, said: “It was an immense collective effort by a small team of volunteers to pull this event together and we were thrilled with how it all went.
