World Meningitis Day is a chance to raise awareness of the disease and keep working towards the goal of defeating meningitis by 2030.
This year, we are delighted to have been chosen as a featured charity for the BBC One programme, Lifeline.
The Lifeline Appeal is an amazing opportunity for us to raise vital awareness of meningitis and our life-changing work.
Our nine-minute appeal film features three people and their families that we have supported. It shows both the devastating impact of meningitis and the difference support from Meningitis Now can make.

Our appeal video features Graeme and Gail, David and Russell and Arthur and Alex. Their moving stories help to show how meningitis can change lives in an instant and why no one should have to face the aftermath alone.
Meningitis Now's BBC Lifeline Appeal aired on BBC One yesterday at 12:35pm, presented by our Celebrity Ambassador, Seema Jaswal.
Seema said: “Having had meningitis myself as a teenager, Meningitis Now is a cause very close to my heart. Please join me – watch, share and donate so Meningitis Now can be there for people affected by meningitis when they need it most.”
