Busy Bees

Busy Bees are the UK’s largest provider of quality childcare.

In 1983, three families, all involved in care and education, decided to take matters into their own hands after they were left frustrated by the lack of quality childcare available for their children.

The original founders are still very much involved in the running of Busy Bees, and the standards of childcare they demanded for their own children back then are still enthusiastically preserved in every facility managed by Busy Bees.

Meningitis Now fundraising partner Busy Bees

Marg Randles, Managing Director of Busy Bees, said:

We are delighted to be partnering with Meningitis Now as it’s an incredible charity with an important mission to save the lives of children in the UK and we want to give them as much support as we can. We look after over 30,000 families in 268 nurseries across the UK and I know Meningitis, and spotting the early signs, is a worry for most parents. Through holding fundraising events and Meningitis awareness days at our nurseries this year we will hope to give families some comfort and knowledge, whilst helping Meningitis Now to continue their research in this field and support their incredible work with families affected by this terrible disease. I would like to thank everyone who is involved in running, or supporting, any of our fundraising or awareness events this year for this very worthy cause.

We are so grateful for Busy Bees' support. During our partnership they raised over £92,000 for Meningitis Now - an incredible amount which will make such a difference in the fight against meningitis.
