Rightmove chose Meningitis Now as their Charity of the Year, after staff member Phil Bates lost his eight-month-old son Joshua in 2016. Initially pledging to raise £13,000, the team had doubled their fundraising total within a few months and have since increased their target; as of December 2019, the current fundraising total stands at a whopping £69,080.
