Royds Withy King

In October 2019, Bath-based solicitors Royds Withy King joined the fight against meningitis in the South West by adding their support to our Rebuilding Futures Fund.

Launched in April 2019, the Rebuilding Futures Fund provides financial, practical and emotional support to people of all ages affected by meningitis.

The programme is designed to help people to start to rebuild their lives by making awards that support health and wellbeing, access to new opportunities, living with bereavement and acquiring specialist equipment.

With two offices in Bath, as well as Bristol, Swindon and Marlborough, staff at Royds Withy King were determined to make a meaningful difference to the lives of people in the communities that they serve.

Their support of Meningitis Now is the latest example of Royds Withy King’s investment into activities that deliver positive outcomes for both its staff and clients. This work was recognised in March when they were awarded Best Managed Firm at the 2019 Managing Partners Forum Awards.

Royds Withy King Specialist Solicitor Lucy Norton recommends Meningitis Now support services in a blog post about living with the after-effects of the disease. “Each person I help with investigating the diagnosis and treatment of meningitis has had a different outcome following recovery from the acute illness itself,” she said. “It is important to know that you are not alone in understanding and coping with a profound change to the person you were or to the person you love.”

Without any central Government funding, Meningitis Now relies on the backing of corporate supporters to help deliver our world leading support services.

Mark Jefferies, Senior Partnerships Fundraiser, said, We are absolutely delighted that Royds Withy King have chosen to support Meningitis Now. Support from our partners is vital in helping us to rebuild the futures of people who have been affected by meningitis in the South West.
