Lantern Memory Walk – Online Registration Now Closed
Online registration for the Lantern Memory Walk is now closed, but you can still sign up on the day.
If you’d like to take part, please arrive at Wythenshawe Park, Wythenshawe Road, Manchester, M23 0PH by 3.30pm on Sunday 4 October to register your place. The walk will begin at 4pm and is expected to finish at approximately 6pm.

Finding Us
When you enter Wythenshawe Park, follow the main path towards Wythenshawe Hall and Pebbles and Friends. Continue past Pebbles and Friends, and you’ll find our registration point by the Oliver Cromwell statue, opposite Wythenshawe Hall. Our team will be there to welcome you and help if needed.
Parking is available in the park, with the car park immediately on your left as you enter through the main entrance.
The nearest tram stop is Moor Road, approximately a 10-minute walk through the park. Please be aware this route is not lit after dark. Wythenshawe Park tram stop offers a well-lit route and is around a 15-minute walk. Bus services are also available from Wythenshawe tram station.

What to Bring
We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes, warm layers and a waterproof jacket, and bringing a filled reusable water bottle.
The route is mainly flat and gentle and is suitable for all abilities. Children under 18 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead throughout the event.
