Every member of the Meningitis Now family has a story to tell. Over the past 40 years, we have heard countless stories of lives lost and lives changed forever by meningitis. Stories of grief and of sadness. But also stories of determination, of resilience, of beating the odds. Above all, they are stories of hope.
Join us in our 40th year as we tell 40 stories of hope – through a unique photography exhibition featuring portraits of 40 people from Meningitis Now's past and present.
Each story represents a unique perspective – from survivors who have overcome the challenges of meningitis, to families and supporters who have shown incredible strength in the face of loss. We also celebrate the impact made by scientists, doctors, volunteers and others connected to the charity. Working with photographer Carmel King, the exhibition aims to build awareness, inspire action and celebrate the remarkable stories that embody Meningitis Now’s legacy of hope and resilience.
The exhibition will be touring the UK and we hope you will join us at one of the following venues. As well as viewings during the day, we have a series of evening viewings and would be delighted if you could attend. No RSVP is needed for Shrewsbury, Guildford and Birmingham.
