Feeling sick and dizzy she went to bed, but the next morning she was drowsy and hard to wake.

Aysha’s temperature was sky high and she didn’t even recognise her parents. They rushed her to hospital where she was diagnosed with meningitis and encephalitis. Luckily, Aysha is strong and has recovered from the disease. However, as a result of her ordeal, she has suffered hearing loss and been fitted with cochlear implants.
