I am looking forward to drawing on my skills in supporting individuals, families and staff
A brief overview of your role - what are you responsible for?
As an Information and Assessment Nurse, I'm responsible for providing a high level of support and information across the UK by:
- answering enquiries across all of the helpline platforms (phone, email and online);
- assessing the needs of individuals and families whose lives have been impacted by meningitis;
- developing and writing new support and disease information for the public.
Your favourite part of your role
New in post in April 2019, I am still finding my feet! I am enjoying the challenge of learning about the charity and the varied nature of my role.
As a nurse with a longstanding clinical background I am looking forward to drawing on my skills in supporting individuals, families and staff.
A fun fact about yourself
As a member of Rock Choir, I have been lucky enough to record at Abbey Road Studios, be part of the opening set at Proms in the Park and this year look forward to performing at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August.
