Meningitis Now ambassador Seema Jaswal

Seema Jaswal

- Patrons and Ambassadors

Sports presenter Seema, who presents the Premier League global football coverage, BBC World Snooker Championship and various football coverage for ITV, contracted bacterial meningitis when she was 16 years old.

In 2019, she backed our Students and Young People campaign, using her own story as a way to encourage young people, and parents of school-age children, to ensure they are protected against the disease with the MenACWY vaccine.

Since then, she has also helped to promote our New Year New You campaign, as well as sat on the judging panel for our Lockdown Memories drawing competition, and maintains an active role in helping us to raise awareness of the disease.
