We are also delighted to have teamed up with Bounty, who have inserted a special signs and symptoms card into their Newborn packs, which are distributed to mums while they are on the maternity ward.
Lisa Penney from Bounty, said,
“Recent findings from our research amongst 2,000 new mums, show just how important it is that parents leave hospital with their new-born baby armed with vital information about meningitis. For 55 years, we have worked in partnership with the NHS to provide information to parents in our free Bounty packs and are delighted to offer our support.”
The partnership between Bounty and Meningitis Now will see a further 820,000 cards distributed to new mums in the first year and will continue for the foreseeable future.
