What motivates me most is helping my clients through the journey of a very difficult experience
Sarah Huntbach
Believe & Achieve Next Step Mentor
I am a solicitor and I represent clients and their families who have suffered life changing injuries, either because of a medical mishap/misdiagnosis, or caused by a road traffic or other type of accident.
How have you supported others in your workplace?
As a senior member of my department, I am involved with the development of junior members of staff and I enjoy passing on the benefit of the experience I have gained over the years.
What motivates you day to day?
I have been in this line of work for many, many years, and what motivates me most is helping my clients through the journey of a very difficult and traumatic experience and, at the end, hearing about the difference this support has made to their lives. I have personally experienced the devastating effect that a serious illness/injury can have on a family, and the battles that are encountered along the way.
What do you do in your spare time?
Outside of work, I have two children who are both at university, and I enjoy travelling around the country as an avid supporter of their athletics. I am a keen tennis player and can be found most weekends in the countryside on long walks with my dog, Chester.
